TAGA

TAGA is located in the downtown area called Nakamachi of Takada castle town.

The traditional wooden architectural style “Machiya” is characterized by the narrow entrance with long depth, the atrium with the skylight, and the galvanized iron wall covered with patches. 
“Gangi” has been saving the livelihoods of people in heavy snowfall area. 

TAGA has been renovated from the “Okiya” (a house of Geisha) in Nakamachi where it once flourished as a “Hanamachi” (Geisha district). It still has the features and beauty of Machiya, along with the comfort and convenience of a home away from your home.

【Children Policy】

・Child up to 6 years of age is free of charge when sharing existing bedding with parents

・Child aged 7 years and over will be charged the full adult rate
